Brent Baker, President

Brent is the president of PulteGroup’s Southeast Florida Division, which spans from Ft. Lauderdale to Vero Beach, and includes the Pulte Homes, DiVosta and Del Webb brands. He has been with Pulte since 2002 and worked in a variety of land and finance-related roles. Prior to becoming a division president, Brent was the Vice President of Land Operations in Austin, Texas. He earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. 

Aimee Craig Carlson, AICP, Director of Entitlements

Aimee serves as the Director of Land Planning and Entitlement, overseeing land planning and entitlement for the division’s new communities.  She excels in managing complex and large entitlement projects and building consensus among all stakeholders.  Aimee previously served in director-level roles at national development and investment firms and homebuilders and was responsible for site acquisition, due diligence, entitlement, community outreach and land development. Aimee has an undergraduate degree from Florida State University, completed graduate studies in urban planning at the University of Florida, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners. 

Patrick Gonzalez, Vice President of Land Development

Patrick has significant experience completing many complicated developments, including residential and golf course redevelopment design and project management. He graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in civil engineering with high honors, and he earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida. Patrick is a Florida registered professional engineer.

Joey Hartman, Vice President of Sales

Joey is the VP of Sales for PulteGroup’s Southeast Florida Division, and oversees sales activities at all of Pulte’s new home communities from Fort Lauderdale to Vero Beach. She started her career in 2005 as a sales consultant and after nine years, she launched and managed the first design center for the Southeast Florida Division. She also spent five years as a general sales manager with a large focus on new community start up. Joey is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University.

Andrew Maxey, Vice President of Land Acquisition

Andrew leads the Land Acquisition team in Southeast Florida, covering the Gold and Treasure Coast counties. His primary responsibility is to source new properties and manage complex entitlements through local, state, and federal government processes. Andrew has extensive experience in acquiring and entitling projects in both the public and private sectors, working on projects ranging from local public-private-partnerships to large scale master plan developments and golf course redevelopment projects. He started his career working locally at a consulting firm and joined the Pulte team in 2015. He earned a degree in Landscape Architecture at the University of Georgia and is a LEED Accredited Professional with the U.S. Green Building Council.

David Kanarek, Director of Community Associations

David joined PulteGroup in 2012 and leads all aspects of Homeowner Associations and Community Development Districts. He has a passion to deliver an exceptional customer experience through a motivated and high performing team of property managers. David has served on the board of directors for the Gold Coast Builders Association, including time as president and, separately, as vice president of government affairs. He previously served on the board for the Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County. David earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, cum laude, and Master of Arts in urban and regional planning from the University of Florida.
