Jamaine Lemon, Land Development Project Manager, began his career with Pulte as a summer intern his senior year at the University of Florida. After earning his degree in finance, Jamaine joined Pulte full-time as an assistant land development project manager. Now a University of Florida MBA graduate, he is a senior project manager who oversees the installation of the main infrastructure and elements such as utilities, landscaping, roads clubhouses and entry features in several projects that currently are in development. Of his experiences at Pulte, Jamaine says, “Being able to see a community come to life is a cool thing to see.”
My Pulte internship experience at the Veranda Gardens community provided an incredible experience to see how a production builder operates. I was able to hit the ground running and learned about scheduling updates, scheduling inspections, and PCS requirements to ensure we maintained quality throughout the build. From the start of a build to walkthrough meetings with homeowners, I learned quite a bit about creating quality homes and ensuring customers are happy at closing. I enjoyed the overall experience, and it taught me how to manage my work more efficiently.
